  October 1999 -- October 2004

  I studied various topics in Computer Science: Software Engineering, Signal
  Processing, Databases, Telecommunication Systems, Cryptography, and more. To
  supplement this, I also studied some Physics at the Physics department of
  Humboldt University. For my thesis, I worked on efficient algorithms for
  Automatic Music Transcription. It includes modern Signal Processing and XML
  technology.

  BMW AG is developing high quality electric vehicles. I'm developing
  embedded software for its ECUs (electronic control units).

  Tebis AG is a leading provider of software solutions and processes for CAD/CAM
  and MES software. There, I was leading the platform team, developing libraries
  and maintaining the development environment for all other development
  teams.

  Astyx Communication & Sensors GmbH, Ottobrunn/Germany
  July 2015 -- September 2018

  Astyx GmbH develops radar and other high frequency sensors. I'm involved
  in development of high resolution radar sensors newly developed for
  autonomous driving applications. My main tasks are design and implementation
  of new system concepts, optimization of software and measurement and visualization
  tools.

  At Epigenomics AG, a German/US biotechnology company, I took care of a
  heterogeneous network with Linux, Solaris and Windows workstations and
  servers and developed an integrated LDAP infrastructure in Berlin/Germany and
  Seattle, WA.

  At Debian (the largest GNU/Linux distribution) I'm maintaining several
  packages and and the powerpcspe platform (Freescale e500v2 core).

  Translation Project
  June 2003 -- July 2015

  I'm a member of the German team in the Translation Project and translated
  gcc from English to German.
